2025 Community Meeting Featuring Dr. Raj Chetty
Join us to hear from Dr. Raj Chetty, co-author of the groundbreaking 2014 study on economic mobility across the U.S. that named Forsyth County one of the most difficult places for children born in low-income households to rise to another income level. Ten years later, Dr. Chetty is joining us to share updated data and insights on the drivers of economic mobility and the roles communities play in creating better outcomes for children and families.
Our May 12 program includes Dr. Chetty’s keynote, followed by a panel discussion with local leaders including Kellie Easton (Action4Equity), Tricia McManus (Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools), and Mark Owens (Greater Winston-Salem Inc.). Join us for this important conversation, and leave inspired to help create a Winston-Salem where everyone can thrive.
