Join as a Business Member
The Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership is active member organizations with businesses and organizations who want to support and participate in initiatives, projects, and advocacy to improve Downtown Winston-Salem in many different ways. Business members are welcome to participate in on-going committee work, access the DWSP mailing list of members, utilize staff to conduct downtown related research, and participate in several member related functions.
Business members are represented by key stakeholders and community leaders on the board of directors. Past initiatives and projects include:
• Implementing the Downtown Plan for further revitalization and growth
• Continuing operation of the Business Improvement District, a defined center portion of downtown that enjoys extra street/sidewalk cleaning, increased safety, and enhanced physical appearance
• Recruiting new businesses, assisting start-ups and supporting existing businesses
• Managing annual downtown events that are entertaining and economically rewarding
As an active member of the PARTNERSHIP, you’ll be contributing directly to the continuing transformation and livability of an amazing and vital part of Winston-Salem
